Electrical Engineer – Power Grids, Distribution Networks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will oversee the planning and design of medium- and low-voltage networks (distribution and connection networks).

• Your role includes network calculations and simulations (load flow, short-circuit, voltage drop).

• You will manage the integration and evaluation of renewable energy systems (e.g., PV, wind, storage), including those governed by the German Renewable Energy Act (EEG).

• You are tasked with the planning and sizing of substations and transformer stations.

• You will assist our clients in the preparation of grid connection applications.

• Your responsibilities include preparing planning documents, concepts, and technical documentation.

• You will coordinate efforts with grid operators, clients, and project stakeholders.

• You are eager to contribute to innovative solutions in power grid management (e.g., Smart Grids, network optimization).

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a similar field.

• You have experience in the planning of power supply networks (MV/LV, ideally HV) and are knowledgeable in network calculations.

• You also have an understanding of regulatory frameworks (EEG, TAB, VDE guidelines).

• You exhibit a structured, independent working approach and possess strong technical skills.

• Collaboration and strong communication abilities are as significant to you as they are to us.

• You have business-fluent proficiency in the German language, both written and spoken.
