This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You will be responsible for the planning and design of medium- and low-voltage networks, including distribution and connection networks.
• You will conduct network calculations and simulations, such as load flow analysis, short circuit assessment, and voltage drop evaluations.
• You will oversee the integration and evaluation of EEG installations, including photovoltaic systems, wind energy, and storage solutions, in accordance with the Renewable Energy Sources Act.
• You will be tasked with the planning and sizing of substations and transformer stations.
• You will assist our clients in preparing grid connection requests.
• You will create planning documents, concepts, and relevant documentation.
• You will collaborate with grid operators, clients, and project stakeholders.
• You will be enthusiastic about contributing to innovative solutions in the area of energy networks, such as Smart Grids and network optimization.
• You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• You have experience in planning power supply networks (MV/LV, ideally also HV) and possess knowledge of network calculations.
• You have an understanding of regulatory frameworks such as EEG, TAB, and VDE guidelines.
• You exhibit a structured and independent working style along with a strong technical understanding.
• Teamwork and effective communication skills are as essential to you as they are to us.
• You can demonstrate fluency in the German language, both written and spoken, at a business level.
• Ideally, you have prior experience in the planning of substations.
