Electrical Engineer – Power and Distribution Networks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Designing and planning medium- and low-voltage networks (including distribution and connection networks)

• Performing network calculations and simulations (such as load flow, short-circuit analysis, and voltage drop)

• Assessing and integrating renewable energy systems under the EEG (e.g., photovoltaic systems, wind energy, and storage solutions)

• Planning and sizing substations and transformer stations

• Assisting our clients in the preparation of grid connection applications

• Producing planning documents, concepts, and comprehensive documentation

• Coordinating with grid operators, clients, and project stakeholders

• Contributing to innovative solutions within the power networks sector (including smart grids and network optimization)

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related discipline

• Experience in the planning of power supply networks (MV/LV, and ideally HV)

• Proficiency in network calculation methods

• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (including EEG, TAB, and VDE regulations)

• A structured and independent approach to work

• Strong technical acumen

• A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills

• Business-fluent in German, both written and spoken

• Ideally, experience in substation planning
