This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Take ownership of electrical engineering for designated sites: conducting reviews, providing field support, and ensuring readiness for energization.
β’ Evaluate electrical packages against the reference design, including one-lines, schedules, and studies.
β’ Respond to field electrical RFIs promptly and address recurring issues by integrating them into the standard processes.
β’ Assist with energization procedures: confirming torque records, verifying insulation test results, and ensuring all checklists are completed before power is activated.
β’ You have experience in electrical engineering within data center or industrial distribution environments.
β’ You are proficient in interpreting one-lines, panel schedules, and related studies.
β’ You have provided support for field electrical operations and energization processes.
β’ You are meticulous about pre-energization documentation, understanding its importance.
β’ Bonus: Professional Engineer (PE) track, experience with MV systems, and familiarity with power studies using SKM or ETAP, as well as NFPA 70E standards.
