Electrical Engineer

📋 Description

• Assess and analyze AI-generated content pertinent to electrical engineering for accuracy, thoroughness, and practical significance.

• Deliver clear, well-founded responses and expert evaluations grounded in your professional engineering background.

• Suggest credible technical references, engineering standards, and industry resources that align with your area of specialization.

• Provide insights into practical electrical engineering workflows, design methodologies, testing processes, system evaluations, and industry benchmarks.

• Work in collaboration with cross-disciplinary subject matter experts to enhance the quality and consistency of AI models across various technical fields.

• Detect technical inaccuracies, vague instructions, and possibilities for refining AI-generated engineering solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States.

• 2+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering, ideally across diverse areas such as power systems, control systems, electronics, signal processing, embedded systems, or industrial electrical engineering.

• Strong understanding of industry standards and electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC), IEEE standards, and other pertinent engineering regulations.

• Practical experience with engineering and simulation software like MATLAB, AutoCAD Electrical, SPICE, Simulink, ETAP, or similar industry-standard tools.

• Preferred experience in preparing technical specifications, engineering reports, design documentation, or training materials.

• Comfortable utilizing contemporary AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar applications.

• Must be based in the United States.

• Proficient in English communication at a professional level.

• Capable of committing approximately 10 hours per week consistently.
