This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and maintain electrical drawing packages for modular containerized data centers, including single-line diagrams, panel schedules, equipment layouts, grounding plans, raceway and cable tray routing, conduit schedules, nameplate/label schedules, and accompanying details.
• Utilize engineer-provided redlines, sketches, and load calculations to generate issue-ready drawings utilizing Armada title blocks and adhering to drawing standards.
• Uphold drawing standards by managing layer conventions, block libraries, symbol libraries, title blocks, and revision control for various product variants.
• Collaborate with mechanical, structural, controls, and fire protection drafters/designers to address interdisciplinary conflicts—such as routing, clearances, and penetrations—prior to the release of drawings.
• Compile and oversee submittal packages for review, which include vendor cut sheets, redline markups, and response documents.
• Integrate redlines from reviewers (both internal and external), manage revision clouds, and sustain a clear revision history.
• Generate as-built drawings based on field markups following commissioning.
• Assist the engineering team with takeoffs, including cable lengths, conduit quantities, breaker counts, and bill-of-material extracts from the drawings.
• An associate's degree, technical certificate, or equivalent practical experience in electrical drafting, CAD design, or electrical technology.
• A minimum of 4 years of electrical drafting experience, with a focus on power distribution drawings (beyond just lighting/low-voltage).
• Strong expertise in AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP, or both, with a comfort level in working with external references, sheet sets, and extensive coordinated drawing packages.
• Proficient in Bluebeam Revu for markup, stamping, and submittal review workflows.
• Familiarity with the NEC (NFPA 70) and the ability to read and interpret manufacturer submittals (UPS, switchgear, transformers, PDUs, batteries, generators).
• Capable of reading mechanical and structural drawings well enough to identify conflicts (routing, clearances, penetrations) before drawings are finalized.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring clean sheets, accurate revisions, consistent symbols, and no orphaned linework.
• Excellent written communication skills, as you will be responsible for responding to RFIs and documenting revisions.
• Competitive base salary and equity.
• Medical, dental, and vision coverage (subsidized cost).
• Health savings accounts (HSA), flexible spending accounts (FSA), and dependent care FSAs (DCFSA).
• Retirement plan options, including 401(k) and Roth 401(k).
• Unlimited paid time off (PTO).
• 14 paid company holidays each year.
