This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive Operational Efficiency: Lead the implementation of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize EHS and operational performance throughout the organization.

• Facilitate Learning Team Events: Organize and conduct learning team meetings to uncover root causes, share insights, and apply sustainable enhancements that mitigate risk and improve outcomes.

• Partner with Operations: Work closely with business and field leadership to synchronize EHS initiatives with operational objectives, ensuring practical, effective, and scalable solutions.

• Enhance EHS Program Effectiveness: Assist in the execution and ongoing enhancement of EHS programs, guaranteeing consistency, efficiency, and compliance with enterprise standards.

• Provide Onsite Support & Training: Offer practical field engagement and targeted training to reinforce safe work practices, improve process adoption, and develop local capabilities.

• Advance Procurement Excellence: Collaborate with procurement and vendor management teams to embed EHS expectations in sourcing, contractor management, and supplier performance.

• Strengthen Client Relationships: Foster client engagement by advocating for EHS value, ensuring alignment with client expectations, and contributing to strong, trust-based partnerships.

• Leverage Data & Insights: Utilize metrics, trends, and performance data to pinpoint gaps, prioritize actions, and drive informed decision-making.

• Promote Culture of Continuous Improvement: Advocate for a culture of accountability, learning, and innovation within the One EHS Team approach and operations.

• Influence & Engage Stakeholders: Cultivate strong relationships across all organizational levels to promote alignment, engagement, and sustained performance improvement.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience in a relevant field.

• Alternatively, candidates may possess different combinations of qualifications, such as a master’s degree and 4 years of experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years of experience in a related field.

• Proven experience supporting EHS programs in a large organizational environment.

• Demonstrated experience in leading projects with a solid understanding of Lean Principles.

• Strong interpersonal skills that promote team building and foster “buy-in” for new initiatives and objectives at all organizational levels.

• Proven ability to gather requirements and facilitate sessions for requirements gathering.

• Lean Six Sigma certification (Yellow, Green, Black Belts are a plus).

• Ability to lead projects and assign actions to the team with timely tracking and urgency.

• Excellent organizational skills and the capability to work independently.

• Ability to drive programs and improvements throughout a matrix organization.

• Experience with data analysis and visualization, familiar with databases, data structures, and queries.

• Willingness to travel 40-50% of the time.
