This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nicaragua.
• Create curriculum frameworks that define learning principles, alignment with standards, pedagogical advice, guidelines for material selection, and assessment methods tailored for a digital learning environment.
• Specify competencies with detailed descriptions, knowledge areas, skills, rubrics, and interdependencies.
• Design a competency-based curriculum that aligns with the established framework, encompassing scope and sequence, learning objectives, materials, unit plans, lesson plans, assessments, and age-appropriate outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with subject matter experts to ensure that the learning experiences are pedagogically sound.
• Continuously refine processes to improve contextual relevance, learner engagement, and instructional effectiveness.
• A Bachelor's degree in Education, Pedagogy, Behavioral Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Over 6 years of experience in curriculum design, learning experience design, or developing educational content for students aged 12 to 18.
• Proficiency in instructional design principles, competency mapping, age-appropriate learning strategies, and creating content for digital learning products.
• Capability to organize learning pathways, lesson sequences, and assessments in a quantifiable manner.
• Extensive understanding of the learning needs, engagement patterns, and developmental stages of adolescents.
• A strong sense of ownership, organizational skills, independence, and the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Proficient in English at a B1 level or above.
