This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Process bi-weekly payroll for employees across various locations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all calculations.
• Leverage ADP payroll software to enter and manage payroll information, covering new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, overtime, and deductions.
• Keep precise employee records, ensuring that all payroll-related data remains current and accurate.
• Review and guarantee adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax withholdings, benefits deductions, and wage garnishments.
• Prepare and submit payroll taxes and related documents, including federal, state, and local tax payments, as well as year-end forms.
• Generate comprehensive payroll reports, monitor hours, overtime, and PTO usage, and address any discrepancies or issues related to employee compensation.
• Assist with audits to ensure proper documentation for both internal and external audits.
• Provide assistance to employees regarding payroll inquiries, deductions, and related issues.
• Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices to ensure the organization remains compliant with all relevant laws.
• Work collaboratively with the HR and finance departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll and benefits.
• Experience with payroll processing through the ADP payroll provider is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience, specifically with expertise in using ADP for payroll operations.
• Comprehensive understanding of payroll processing in the U.S. and California, including federal and state tax regulations.
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Excel, including proficiency in formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation techniques.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy in all payroll-related assignments.
• Capability to manage confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to address employee inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Adaptability to new technologies and systems as required.
• A collaborative team player, willing to work with others to address and resolve challenges.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and experience with general ledger accounting is advantageous.
• Certification in Payroll (CPP) or related credentials is a plus.
