This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Assist the Director of Education in coordinating all educational products and materials.
• Organize the licensing and hosting of Orthopaedic Nurse Review Courses.
• Participate in meetings with the Education Committee to assess the need for new learning materials.
• Provide evaluation feedback to speakers.
• Assist learners facing difficulties with course access, evaluations, and certificates.
• Generate reports using the Association database, Learning Management System, and other technologies as required.
• Aid in ensuring the quality of educational content, tests, evaluations, certificates, links, and learner experience.
• Manage documentation and promote continuous improvement.
• Maintain a consistent marketing strategy for all educational offerings across various platforms.
• Offer support to the Director of Education and the Education Committee before, during, and after the annual educational conference.
• Help with the Call for Proposals process and track proposal submissions.
• Collaborate with speakers regarding contracts, presentation edits, deadlines, and more.
• Attend in-person events to support speakers and the Director of Education on-site.
• Provide post-conference assistance to attendees, including access to evaluations, certificate requests, and technical support.
• Monitor and record participant credit hours for all accredited educational offerings.
• Conduct record maintenance and documentation/report support for annual reporting and reaccreditation processes.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the journal editor and publisher.
• Assist and support the Director of Education and Executive Director in various capacities.
• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in education, training, association management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with medical associations and Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Required knowledge of web-based technology platforms.
• A high level of organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding customer service attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and advance them efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
• A positive team-player attitude and self-motivation are essential.
• Required experience with learning management systems, association management software, email marketing platforms, webinar tools, and content creation software.
• Experience with platforms like Impexium, Constant Contact, Canva, Zoom, Airtable, or similar systems is advantageous.
• Must be comfortable learning new technology platforms and troubleshooting basic technical issues.
• Willingness to travel to 2-3 events per year; participation in some evening committee meetings is required (1-2/month).
