This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Provide direct leadership and oversight for Education Specialists at various locations.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to foster employee growth, coaching, and performance evaluation.
• Oversee the onboarding and training of new Education Specialists in collaboration with the Education Center of Excellence.
• Assist in the implementation of standardized educational practices and significant organizational initiatives.
• Assign, track, and balance the caseloads of Education Specialists.
• Manage an individual patient caseload as necessary.
• Offer consultation and supervision on intricate educational cases.
• Facilitate weekly and/or bi-weekly meetings for the Education team.
• Collaborate with site leadership by engaging in leadership huddles, daily rounds, and interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Support Academic & Skills Integration and Therapeutic Resource Hour programming.
• Provide LBS1 supervision for Illinois Virtual Program staff and assist with Virtual Academic Skills Integration coverage as needed.
• Organize tutoring services when applicable.
• Work closely with the Education Center of Excellence to further department objectives and initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Billing team to address education-related billing inquiries and ensure proper documentation.
• Aid in billing oversight and the operational processes of the education department.
• Assist with key initiative projects and other assigned priorities.
• Master's degree in Education or a related discipline is highly preferred.
• An active LBS1 teaching license is required.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Experience working with students with emotional and behavioral health needs.
• Strong understanding of public school systems, special education procedures, IEPs, and educational accommodations.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Capability to effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, collaborative setting.
• A passion for supporting children, adolescents, and families through behavioral healthcare.
