Editorial Intern, Radio Editorial Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• As an editorial intern at Studio Eins, you will be responsible for producing the radio magazine "Hier und Jetzt".

• You will collaborate within a team to create one broadcast each month.

• The team operates with a high degree of independence.

• An experienced colleague will be available to assist with any questions.

• As an editor, you will have the autonomy to select topics to cover.

• Your responsibilities will include topic selection, conducting research, creating contributions for the broadcast, and producing the entire show.

• Research relevant topics for radio segments.

• Conceptualize, plan, and conduct interviews with external partners.

• Plan and technically produce the spoken segments for the radio show.

• Plan and technically produce a complete radio broadcast including spoken segments and music.

• Ensure the quality of the produced radio broadcasts.

• Write online articles about the show and other topics for the Studio Eins website.

• Participate in editorial meetings and required trainings.

⛳️ Requirements

• No prior professional experience is necessary.

• In principle, anyone can participate.

• A key requirement is a genuine interest in journalistic work.

• You should be a member of the association or be willing to join.

• Additionally, a commitment to collaborate respectfully and cooperatively within the team is essential.

• Self-responsibility, social skills, and reliability are expected.

• The necessary technical skills will be taught during the internship.

• Participation in the editorial team is structured as an internship.

• Upon completion of the internship, you will receive a certificate/reference, which will be beneficial for future applications.

• The internship consists of a total of 176 hours.

• The schedule is flexible, and the work can be conducted entirely remotely (home office).

• You are encouraged to continue producing broadcasts after the internship.

• During the internship, there will also be opportunities to create articles for our website.

• Work at Studio Eins is voluntary and therefore unpaid.
