Editor, Paginator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Serve as a copy editor/paginator in a dynamic news setting.

• Commit to working one to three shifts each week, mainly during the evenings.

• Guarantee accuracy of details while adhering to tight deadlines.

• Deliver outstanding customer service.

• Collaborate with fellow team members on various projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in copy editing, designing, and proofreading print newspaper pages.

• Demonstrated ability to create compelling and accurate headlines and other display text.

• Strong sense of news judgment.

• Capability to maintain accuracy while meeting daily deadlines.

• Excellent orientation towards customer service.

• Superior oral and written communication abilities.

• A background in journalism is preferred.

• Experience in editing sports-related content is a plus.
