📋 Description

• Lead the Editorial Funnel: Collaborate with the entire content team to propose, assign, and refine high-impact articles and digital content for RealAgriculture.com.

• Story & Guest Outreach: Keep an eye on social media, industry developments, and emerging agricultural trends to uncover unique perspectives, trending topics, and articulate voices necessary for written features and guest contributions.

• Email Strategy: Ensure that the RealAg newsletters contain sufficient stories relevant to what readers need to know within specific email categories.

• Enhance Content Performance: Evaluate web traffic, audience responses, and social media metrics to advocate for new angles, follow-up articles, or improved representation of diverse viewpoints.

• Multimedia Collaboration: Generate ideas and source guests for webinars, podcasts, and video series, ensuring a smooth connection between written content and digital media.

• Content Repurposing: Assist in extracting key highlights, quotes, and clips from our media assets to transform them into compelling editorial pieces or social-first content (working closely with our social media coordinator).

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior Editor with experience in Journalism or a related degree in Journalism.

• Experience within the Agriculture sector is a plus, though not mandatory.
