EDC Developer, Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a subject matter expert in the Veeva Clinical Data Management Suite (CDMS), which includes Veeva Electronic Data Capture (EDC) and Veeva Clinical Database (CDB).

• Execute all tasks associated with eCRF design and EDC build programming for designated projects.

• Conduct EDC edit check programming for assigned projects according to specifications for both straightforward and intricate edit checks.

• Generate test data to validate both screen design and edit check programming before launching into User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Establish test environments and coordinate with project team members for the execution of test scripts.

• Program and configure listings and reports using clinical reporting tools such as Veeva Clinical Database (CDB).

• Ensure secure and high-integrity database imports from vendor transfers adhering to Celerion data transfer standards.

• Support the validation of hardware and software upgrades, including the development, review, and execution of validation documentation.

• Uphold global clinical trial database standards (CDISC).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical data management.

• Proficiency in programming with SQL is required.

• Experience with EDC systems (e.g., Veeva CDMS, Medidata RAVE, etc.) is essential.

• Familiarity with Veeva EDC and Veeva CDB is preferred.

• Strong computer skills with a solid understanding of clinical systems and data administration.

• Must be organized and possess effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while building strong relationships is essential.
