Ecommerce Fraud Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Formulate and uphold policies, procedures, and best practices aimed at preventing fraud in ecommerce transactions.

• Supervise real-time and post-transaction fraud detection systems to pinpoint suspicious activities.

• Examine fraud trends, patterns, and emerging threats to proactively refine prevention strategies.

• Partner with IT, customer service, finance, and legal teams to investigate and resolve fraud incidents.

• Oversee relationships with third-party fraud detection vendors and payment processors.

• Perform regular audits of ecommerce transactions and systems to guarantee adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards.

• Educate and train internal teams on fraud awareness and prevention methods.

• Analyze and condense research findings into critical insights for stakeholders.

• Direct incident response efforts for major fraud occurrences, including root cause analysis and corrective measures.

• Stay informed about industry advancements, fraud schemes, and pertinent legislation.

• Propel continuous process enhancements while managing multiple priorities.

• Evaluate situations, negotiate, and make decisions in a dynamic environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in ecommerce fraud prevention, risk management, eCommerce platforms, or a similar role.

• In-depth knowledge of payment systems, chargeback processes, and fraud detection technologies.

• Expertise in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, SQL, BI tools).

• Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

• Proven experience in managing teams and projects within a fast-paced ecommerce setting.

• Strong organizational and project management abilities.

• Preferred experience in Retail eCommerce/CNP environments.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
