This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• The Account Strategist serves as the primary client account manager, responsible for ensuring that agreed-upon growth initiatives are executed promptly and to precise specifications tailored to meet specific requirements or merchant briefs.
• Manage several of BAO’s retained Strategic Programme merchants while fostering strong, value-driven relationships with key stakeholders associated with those merchants.
• Collaborate with the roadmap creator (Strategic Director / Head of Merchant Strategy) to help generate innovative ideas.
• Comprehend task specifications and act as the liaison with the internal BAO team to define, advance, and achieve final results.
• Oversee feedback mechanisms with clients to identify areas where additional solutions may be necessary to ensure optimal outcomes for the merchant.
• Guarantee that agency resources are allocated effectively based on the requirements outlined within the merchants' growth roadmap.
• Practical technical expertise with an e-Commerce platform such as Shopify, Magento, Big Commerce, etc.
• At least 2 years of experience working in active eCommerce (either in-house or at an agency).
• A well-rounded technology generalist with a constructive, problem-solving mindset.
• Proficient communicator who knows how to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Exceptionally organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and manage requests from various clients simultaneously.
• Previous roles may include eCommerce Manager, eCommerce Executive, Project Manager, or Digital Account Manager.
• Bonus Points for:
• Direct experience with the Shopify / Shopify Plus platform and its partners within the ecosystem.
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, with the capability to convert data into actionable insights.
• Experience in managing development roadmaps and a solid understanding of end-to-end strategies.
