EAP Care Advocate – Licensed Counselor/Social Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer guidance, support, consultation, and referrals to eligible employees and their dependents.

• Perform thorough clinical assessments, including the identification of presenting issues, work-life challenges, and risk and safety screenings.

• Create personalized care plans that address each participant's specific clinical and sub-clinical needs.

• Facilitate referrals and help participants secure appointments for short-term Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counseling.

• Provide mental health advocacy and assist participants in navigating to higher levels of care when necessary.

• Support referrals to other employer-sponsored health management resources as appropriate.

• Engage in active case management, which includes reviewing treatment plans.

• Conduct timely follow-ups to ensure connection to care, assess program satisfaction, and evaluate EAP service outcomes and impacts.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records in accordance with HIPAA, ethical standards, and departmental guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in a mental health discipline, such as social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy.

• Relevant post-graduate clinical experience.

• Clinical licensure.

• Comfort and familiarity with technology for training and remote work, including the Microsoft Office Suite, contact management systems, web-based software, and soft phone applications.

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to collect data, establish facts, define problems, and draw valid conclusions.

• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, fully remote work environment.

• Previous experience in EAP and/or case management is advantageous.
