EAP Care Advocate – Licensed Counselor/Social Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer guidance, support, consultation, and referrals to eligible employees and their dependents

• Perform thorough clinical assessments, including the identification of presenting issues, work-life challenges, and safety and risk considerations

• Create personalized care plans that address both clinical and sub-clinical needs of each participant

• Facilitate referrals and aid participants in securing appointments for short-term EAP counseling

• Provide mental health advocacy and navigation for participants who require higher levels of care

• Assist with referrals to employer-sponsored health management resources when suitable

• Engage in active case management, including reviews of treatment plans

• Conduct timely follow-ups to ensure connection to care, assess program satisfaction, and evaluate EAP service outcomes and impact

• Maintain precise and complete records in accordance with HIPAA, ethical standards, and departmental policies

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in a mental health field, such as social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy

• Relevant post-graduate clinical experience

• Clinical licensure

• Proficiency and comfort with technology for remote work, including Microsoft Office Suite, contact management systems, web-based applications, and soft phones

• Strong analytical skills to collect data, establish facts, identify problems, and reach valid conclusions

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, fully remote work setting

• Previous experience in EAP and/or case management is advantageous
