Dynatrace Instrumentation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Join our team as an Instrumentation Engineer, where you will assist customers in tackling their most significant challenges related to performance monitoring.

• Directly engage with assigned tasks within ServiceNow.

• Act as the technical point of contact for clients, contributing to the design of monitoring solutions, executing and implementing those solutions, troubleshooting technical issues, updating ServiceNow Visual Task Boards to document your work, and actively participating in quality assurance processes.

• Utilize your expertise to carry out routine tasks such as adding and removing devices in Dynatrace and other monitoring tools like SolarWinds.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in delivering technical support related to system architecture, design, integration, and management.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience with Dynatrace, including installing OneAgent, utilizing Dynatrace APIs, creating dashboards, and conducting data trend analysis within a monitoring tool, as well as integrating with cloud performance monitoring tool alerts (AWS/Azure).

• Capability to provide technical input into the development of application performance monitoring solutions.

• Experience in conducting requirements analysis, which includes identifying needs and deficiencies in hardware and software products.

• Knowledge in reviewing and pinpointing gaps in application performance monitoring capabilities.

• Ability to guide customers in monitoring solutions and facilitate knowledge transfer regarding monitoring tools.

• A high school diploma or GED along with 13+ years of relevant professional experience, or a BA or BS degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or another engineering or technical discipline with 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
