Dutch Music & Lyrics AI Evaluator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Assess the quality, creativity, coherence, originality, adherence to prompts, tone, and musical context of AI-generated lyrics.

• Detect awkward phrasing, repetitive writing, weak imagery, unnatural language, and stylistic inconsistencies.

• Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs and reference materials to identify significant similarities and potential derivative patterns.

• Evaluate whether Dutch lyrics are natural, idiomatic, culturally authentic, and suitable for modern Dutch musical environments.

• Analyze lyrics concerning intended genres, sub-genres, artists, audiences, tone, performance style, vocal delivery, and musical direction.

• Consistently apply detailed evaluation guidelines across AI-generated outputs.

• Provide clear ratings along with structured written feedback.

• Identify recurring weaknesses in models, including aspects of language, creativity, originality, and cultural nuance.

• Offer specialized music and language expertise to enhance generative AI systems.

• Complete tasks without utilizing confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, institution, or third party.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native command of Dutch.

• Strong ability to comprehend detailed written instructions in English.

• Professional experience as a Songwriter, Lyricist, Performer, Composer, Music Journalist, or a closely related field in music.

• In-depth knowledge of the Dutch music scene.

• Excellent grasp of natural Dutch phrasing, slang, idiomatic expressions, and cultural nuances.

• Strong analytical judgment when assessing lyrical quality and originality.

• Access to headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.

• Extensive familiarity with contemporary Dutch genres, sub-genres, and artists.

• Ability to work autonomously and consistently apply detailed evaluation criteria.

• Formal training in music performance, theory, composition, or songwriting is a plus.

• Credited or published songwriting work is highly regarded.

• Applicants may be required to complete a Dutch bilingual competency assessment during onboarding.
