This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a dedicated resource within the designated territory to assist with all DOT/Driver Compliance and Driver Safety initiatives for 4,000 company drivers.
• Oversee accident reporting procedures and compile accident files for all DOT reportable incidents occurring in the assigned territory.
• Gather and maintain all pertinent accident information, including documentation, telematics data, reports, and photographs.
• Generate and distribute relevant reports.
• Utilize the monthly DOT Citations Report to streamline the collection and accountability for DOT Roadside Inspections.
• Create and execute corrective action plans.
• Monitor driver behavior recognition through camera-based systems.
• Support mentoring and counseling efforts regarding inappropriate driving behaviors.
• Centralize oversight and reporting of driver adherence within the Telematics system.
• Review, assess, and develop corrective action plans for instances of non-compliance.
• Collaborate actively with location management on Telematics training; guide managers on the effective operation of the Motive system.
• Prior experience in driver management is highly preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience with Telematics.
• Familiarity with Getoab is preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations, especially concerning DVIR and eHOS.
• Understanding of company operations.
• Capability to research and interpret federal regulations.
• Strong organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently.
• Competence in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks concurrently.
