Drafting Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Confirm that drawings and 3D models are present in production orders and align with order specifications.

• Generate any missing drawings or create 3D models as needed.

• Independently gather essential technical information from internal systems and databases.

• Upload and ensure the accuracy of documentation (orders, drawings, and models) within internal systems.

• Aid the production process by verifying that technical documentation is thorough and accurate.

• Detect and address discrepancies in engineering data.

• Maintain high standards of quality and precision in all engineering deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English for business communication (B1 level or higher).

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an engineering position, preferably in mechanical engineering.

• Familiarity with CAD software (Fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.

• Strong interest in manufacturing and production processes.

• Eager to learn and pursue professional development.

• Detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of working independently.

• Prepared to tackle non-standard engineering challenges.

• Preferred: Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

• Understanding of CNC machining (milling, turning) and sheet metal fabrication.

• Familiarity with 3D printing technologies.

• Knowledge of finishing and post-processing methods.
