Donor Support Associate – Temporary Role

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +32 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality day-to-day support to donors regarding various inquiries, which may include refunds, cancellation of recurring donations, standard login issues, and managing other donor-related requests.

• Effectively categorize all incoming support requests to the appropriate team based on the content of the emails.

• Proactively engage in support and outreach to our users as required.

• Review voicemails and return phone calls as necessary.

• Identify and flag potential bugs or issues with ActBlue’s platform that users report to us.

• Examine donation transactions as part of our fraud prevention procedures.

• Adhere to established quality and productivity standards for the position.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with Mac. Comfortably navigate a Mac OS environment for daily tasks (basic file management, switching between applications, standard keyboard shortcuts).

• Customer service experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting customers daily via email and phone.

• Preference for experience with HubSpot (or comparable email ticket systems like Salesforce/Zendesk).

• Strong attention to detail. You meticulously proofread and check your work, recognizing that details are crucial for the success of a project.

• Problem-solving abilities. Creativity, patience, and a helpful demeanor are essential for assisting individuals in resolving issues and obtaining necessary information.

• Organizational and efficiency skills in handling phone calls and emails. This role will involve responding to a high volume of emails and calls daily while problem-solving with customers over the phone.

• Exceptional communication skills. You will interact with diverse individuals daily — candidates should thrive on constant communication and have a passion for assisting others. You possess the ability to process complex information and adapt your language to support users of varying proficiency with our tools.

• Ability to work independently. Although you will be part of a team, much of your daily work will be self-directed and managed.
