This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Develop, oversee, and sustain documentation repositories for programs.
• Create and revise technical, operational, and program management documentation.
• Ensure that all documentation remains up-to-date, precise, and well-controlled in terms of configuration.
• Maintain standard templates, document libraries, and version histories for documents.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and transition initiatives.
• Utilize Jira and Confluence to manage documentation, monitor changes, and provide visibility into system status.
• Document operational workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and workflow diagrams.
• Maintain runbooks and procedures for operational support.
• Capture valuable lessons learned and best practices.
• Document processes and procedures for the CI/CD pipeline.
• Support the creation of release documentation and deployment records.
• Maintain diagrams of system architecture and technical references.
• Coordinate updates to documentation as a result of platform enhancements and modernization efforts.
• Assist with contract deliverables (CDRLs), status reporting, and governance documentation.
• Maintain records of meetings, decision logs, action items, and changes.
• Support the tracking of risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Ensure audit readiness and maintain records related to cybersecurity, quality assurance, and program reviews.
• Assist in documenting activities related to system accreditation and compliance.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Ability to obtain a Tier-3 Secret Clearance.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in configuration management and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with configuration management principles and tools, including Git and version control systems.
• Experience in maintaining technical documentation and system artifacts.
• Knowledge of federal standards and processes.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tracking and documentation tools.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting Configuration Control Boards (CCB) and change management workflows.
• Preferred: Understanding of deliverables and documentation standards.
• Preferred: Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) versioning and configuration practices.
