This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +2 more states.
• The District Sales Manager (DSM) oversees all sales operations within the district.
• Responsible for guiding the development and performance of all Sales Consultants, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the company's vision and mission.
• This role involves staffing and managing Sales Consultants (SCs) as direct reports.
• The DSM provides leadership, strategic planning, training, and oversight for all sales activities to guarantee that the district achieves optimal profitability and growth aligned with the company's vision and objectives.
• This leader formulates plans and collaboratively develops strategies with their direct superior (referred to as the Senior Sales Leader) to enhance sales revenues from existing clients and attract new client acquisitions.
• Engagement in significant client presentations and discussions is required to ensure top-tier customer service.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred, along with equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in successfully expanding profitable sales within the B2B market segment is preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in field and/or virtual sales.
• Experience in managing a remote sales team is preferred.
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capability to effectively present information and address inquiries from suppliers, customers, management, and inter-departmental staff.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including maintaining a customer database, navigating the Internet, and using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook), along with a willingness to become adept with designated sales technology and software (e.g., Phocas, GForce, Salesforce.com, and PeopleSoft).
