This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Facilitate commercial activities within field teams to boost sales in a designated region.
• Develop, implement, and communicate the District Sales Plan while tracking progress.
• Coordinate field activities to attain results and meet established targets.
• Leverage market, segment, and team dynamics to enhance both top-line and bottom-line outcomes.
• Ensure seamless collaboration for daily operations and long-term business execution.
• Establish the tone and pace for business processes and organizational structure.
• Present market insights and franchise/business viewpoints while leading teams and conducting in-field meetings.
• Mentor, coach, educate, and nurture both direct and indirect team members.
• Hold direct reports accountable for their behaviors and expectations.
• Provide guidance and insights to internal partners during the business planning process.
• Consistently demonstrate AbbVie's Ways of Working.
• A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.
• A minimum of four years of experience in pharmaceutical sales management; external management experience may be considered.
• Skills in business analysis and planning that enhance sales performance.
• Must be in good standing with safety and compliance standards.
• Currently meeting performance expectations.

• Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to articulate the scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas.

• Must meet the applicable credentialing requirements for health care industry representatives.
• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain the necessary HCIR credentials.
• Must comply with background checks, drug screenings, immunization/vaccination requirements, fingerprinting, and any applicable licensing requirements as specified by facilities, states, or cities.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and fulfill safe driving requirements.
• Ability to operate a personal or company vehicle.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
