This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Enhance store sales by focusing on customer service, product availability, merchandising, and overall store appearance.
• Provide management with summaries of promotions, business opportunities, outcomes, trends, and competitive insights.
• Oversee controllable merchandise, labor, cash flow, repairs, maintenance, and additional operational expenses.
• Work in conjunction with the marketing team on promotions and the introduction of new products.
• Offer insights to category managers concerning stock-related issues.
• Collaborate with vendors to guarantee product availability and ensure timely execution of promotions.
• Ensure profitable store operations through effective P&L management.
• Uphold company policies, procedures, government regulations, and sales restrictions.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment while providing safety training and communication.
• Anticipate financial needs, create annual budgets, schedule expenditures, analyze discrepancies, and implement corrective measures.
• Lead and manage Store Managers, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, development, training, performance evaluation, coaching, counseling, and corrective actions.
• Comply with the Company Operating Policy regarding legal, ethical, and moral practices.
• Achieve Financial and Key Result Area targets in line with company plan guidelines.
• Travel by car approximately 50% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred; alternative combinations of job-related experience and education may be considered.
• Preferred three to five years of experience in retail business, including at least two years in a management role.
• Proven leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, self-motivated, and a strong focus on customer service.
• Proficient in both oral and written communication in English.
• Capability to supervise and train Store Managers in the utilization of store equipment, tools, and materials.
• Ability to manage and oversee the responsibilities outlined in the Store Manager's job description.
• Familiarity with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is preferred.
• A current valid driver's license is necessary for operating a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to sit, talk, and/or hear; utilize hands to handle or grasp objects; occasionally stand, walk, and reach.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist height.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds from ground to waist height.
• Ability to push and pull with arms using up to 20 pounds of force.
• Ability to climb a ladder.
• Ability to occasionally work in extreme temperatures within walk-in coolers/freezers.
