This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Provides strategic clinical oversight and supports the daily clinical operations within the community for Executive Directors, Health and Wellness Directors, and clinical associates, as well as district and regional leaders overseeing assigned communities.
• Aligns with company objectives and strategies to optimize resources, ensuring quality care and service delivery, staff training and development, and management of risk and regulatory compliance.
• Accountable for the effective implementation and ongoing maintenance of clinical policies and procedures at the community support center.
• Conducts routine clinical quality audits through site visits and reviews of all healthcare areas to ensure adherence to Brookdale standards and state regulations.
• Analyzes specific community models to assist in staffing clinical positions based on the community size and the residents receiving services.
• Aids in the execution of quality care and services, fostering the development of medical professional relationships within the community.
• Monitors compliance and assists communities in identifying root causes and corrective actions related to community quality metrics and clinical outcomes concerning falls, elopements, medication administration, reduction of psychotropic drugs, and skin integrity.
• Reviews resident clinical assessments to ensure the accuracy of residents' physical, emotional, and mental functioning, and confirms that clinical services delivered to residents are properly documented in the relevant systems/records.
• A Bachelor’s degree (B.S.N.) from a four-year college or university is preferred; an RN license is required.
• A minimum of five to seven years of related experience and/or training, primarily in the geriatric field.
• Experience working with the elderly is essential.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle for business travel.
