This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.
• In alignment with our partner and sales capacity, compliance, and profitability requirements, we will implement an extensive distribution strategy.
• Developing and overseeing Distributor Growth Plans that guide our distribution partnerships.
• Collaborating with APJ sales, channel, and marketing leaders to define, execute, and manage distribution sales objectives.
• Partnering with APJ sales and channel teams to perform regular quarterly business reviews to evaluate the execution of Distributor Growth Plans.
• Onboarding and activating partners through our distributors.
• Working with WWFO to facilitate seamless transaction processing for multi-country orders.
• Engaging in cross-functional projects to contribute to, develop, and implement global transformational initiatives.
• Promoting the adoption of our configuration and quote process to support channel-led deal management.
• Implementing a proactive renewals strategy with our distributors.
• Enhancing automation to support renewal, cross-sell, upsell, and operational efficiencies with our distribution partners.
• Demonstrated capability to leverage AI tools to boost productivity, streamline workflows, and assist in decision-making.
• 5–10 years of experience working with or for distributors.
• Familiarity with the MITC (Meet in the Channel) solution-selling model.
• Experience in establishing and managing growth-oriented distribution relationships in the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) market(s).
• Ability to manage pipeline closure during periods of high volume.
• Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to daily activities.
• Capability to manage the pipeline both strategically and tactically, particularly at quarter-end to eliminate barriers.
• Skill in influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving outcomes from individuals not directly reporting.
• A dynamic and adaptable individual capable of working on both strategic projects and tactical tasks as necessary.
• Proven history of creating awareness, demand, and preference for company products and services.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate marketing initiatives, prioritize tasks, execute plans, and assess ROI from partners.
• Strong communication skills.
• A successful history of designing effective engagement strategies with partners in previous roles.
• In-depth knowledge of value offerings through distribution, with the ability to drive alignment and leverage distribution programs and offerings for the benefit of Cohesity, partners, and customers.
