This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Team Support: Providing training, coaching, fleet maintenance, dispatch, and routing to uphold high performance and team morale.
• Operational Oversight: Overseeing daily line haul routing, backhaul/DBM daily route completion, and Vehicle PMs.
• Inventory Management: Managing Fleet rental usage and ensuring accuracy in utilization.
• Logistics Coordination: Organizing, scheduling, and tracking carrier shipments, while optimizing routes and transit times.
• Efficiency Improvement: Leveraging data and analytics (TMS/Jalapeno systems) to pinpoint bottlenecks, boost productivity, and streamline workflows.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring all team members adhere to DOT, OSHA, and Misfits Market safety standards at all times.
• Performance Monitoring: Evaluating team performance against established KPIs and implementing strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall operational excellence.
• Training and Inspections: Completing all assigned trainings and inspections with your team to maintain a safe working environment. Keeping excellent records to comply with all regulatory standards.
• Resource Optimization: Effectively allocating resources, including workloads and equipment, to meet operational demands. Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless workflows.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Guiding and mentoring front-line delivery staff to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, safety, and teamwork. Providing coaching and support to improve both individual and team performance.
• Distribution Support: Contributing to overall distribution volume, which may involve assisting other drivers in completing their routes or working overtime as necessary.
• Skill Development: Ensuring team members possess the necessary skills for success. Identifying training needs within the team and coordinating with our HR and Learning teams to implement training programs.
• Prior leadership experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics setting.
• Understanding of DOT and OSHA regulatory requirements.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, delegate tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Experience in training individuals on new processes or procedural updates.
• Proficiency in equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and people management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of management.
• Strong conflict-resolution and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience with or certification in Lean Six Sigma, PMP, TPM, or other relevant certifications (Nice to Have).
• Experience conducting root cause analysis investigations (Nice to Have).
• CDL Class A or B license preferred, but not mandatory (Nice to Have).
• Experience operating forklifts or EPJs (Nice to Have).
