This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Engage with WM drivers to facilitate problem resolution during their routes for residential, commercial, and roll-off business segments.
• Manage incoming service orders and provide direction to drivers.
• Address service-related issues while collaborating with customer service, sales, Route Managers, mechanics, and other operational personnel.
• Utilize WM proprietary software to oversee same-day ticket routing and organize routes for the following day.
• Assign drivers to calls based on customer requirements, driver locations, loads, and daily considerations.
• Enhance route efficiency in collaboration with sites and the service department.
• Assess daily driver staffing levels to maintain a balance between responsiveness and productivity.
• Allocate routes and service tickets to suitable drivers while overseeing route completion.
• Manage incoming calls and emails related to pickups, deliveries, and container movements.
• Liaise with customers while drivers are on site to address any pickup and service delays.
• Identify and resolve delivery and pickup challenges proactively to prevent service disruptions.
• Ensure same-day service for missed pickups by effectively managing routing and monitoring driver activities.
• Some travel, up to 15%, may be necessary for in-person engagements with responsible sites.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively across multiple areas.
• Capability to multitask within a dynamic work environment.
• Exceptional organizational abilities.
• Experience in dispatch, routing, or logistics is essential.
• Preferred skills include strong communication and computer proficiency.
• Flexibility to work within the hours of 3am–7pm Mountain Time, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
• Potential travel, up to 15%, may be necessary.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative if needed for air travel or access to federal properties.
