Dispatcher, EMT/Paramedic – Weekend Shift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate service requests from members

• Organize the distribution and management of field and virtual care resources across various states

• Work in conjunction with field operations managers, colleagues, and Virtual Urgent Care to allocate and initiate responses

• Recognize and emphasize issues related to safety, service delivery, and operational continuity, escalating when necessary

• Detect risks of imminent life threats, self-harm, or potential harm to others, conducting appropriate inquiries and notifications

• Complete assessment tools and documentation across diverse platforms

• Assist with intake, triage, and access to care for Cityblock’s members nationwide

• Facilitate connections between members and medical providers as well as care staff through the Care Traffic Control center

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience

• Must possess a Paramedic or EMT license

• Availability to work three 12-hour shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, along with one additional 4-hour shift during the week

• Ability to reliably adhere to the required schedule

• Candidates from all U.S. time zones are encouraged to apply; preference will be given to those in Eastern and Central time zones, with Mountain and Pacific candidates also considered

• Competence in performing intake, triage, safety-risk assessment, coordination, and documentation across multiple platforms
