This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Engage in effective communication with WM drivers to facilitate problem resolution during their routes.
• Manage incoming service orders and provide direction to drivers.
• Address service challenges across residential, commercial, and roll-off sectors.
• Collaborate with WM customer service, sales, Route Managers, mechanics, and other operational personnel.
• Utilize WM proprietary software for managing same-day ticket routing.
• Prepare routes for the following day.
• Dispatch drivers to service calls based on customer requirements, driver locations, loads, and daily considerations.
• Enhance routes in coordination with sites and the service department.
• Assess daily driver staffing levels to maintain a balance between responsiveness and productivity.
• Allocate routes and service tickets to suitable drivers throughout the day and for the next day.
• Oversee route actions and ensure route completion.
• Address incoming calls and emails from customer service and sales teams.
• Manage requests for pickup or delivery of container movements within the designated market area.
• Communicate with customers while drivers are present on-site to address service delays.
• Identify and resolve potential delivery and pickup challenges.
• Guarantee same-day service for missed pickups by efficiently managing routing and monitoring driver movements.
• Travel up to 15% may be necessary for face-to-face interactions with assigned sites.
• Experience in dispatch, routing, or route optimization is essential.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Strong communication and computer skills are highly desirable.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. is required.
• A minimum of 6 months of relevant work experience is necessary.
• Experience in a team-oriented environment is important.
• Ability to effectively communicate across various departments.
• Capability to multitask in a dynamic work environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills are a must.
• Candidates must reside within the Florida market area, within 50 miles of a WM site.
• Flexibility during operating hours is required.
