This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversee the U.S. sales organization and take responsibility for U.S. revenue performance.
• Achieve approximately $60M in annual revenue through the management of 13 Territory Managers.
• Convert company strategy into priorities for territories, accounts, and opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, develop, and hold accountable a team of 13 Territory Managers.
• Evaluate organizational capabilities, recruit and nurture talent, enhance succession planning, and optimize territory coverage.
• Set standards for qualification, funnel coverage, opportunity progression, closing strategies, and conversion rates.
• Conduct structured opportunity reviews that emphasize decisions, actions, risks, and subsequent steps.
• Maintain U.S. forecast accuracy by utilizing objective customer insights and clear opportunity stages.
• Execute weekly coaching sessions, funnel evaluations, monthly business reviews, quarterly territory/account assessments, field coaching, and performance follow-ups.
• Ensure that Territory Managers uphold territory growth strategies and prioritize strategic clients, new business, and high-value opportunities.
• Establish the CRM as the definitive source of truth and utilize KPIs and analytics to foster accountability.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Service, Operations, Finance, and Key Accounts.
• Represent the business with strategic customers and support significant opportunities that require executive involvement.
• Report directly to the Sr. Director of Sales.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience (10+ years).
• Extensive progressive B2B sales and commercial leadership background.
• Preferred experience in technical, industrial, instrumentation, environmental, scientific, or complex solution-selling sectors.
• Proven experience in leading and scaling geographically dispersed sales teams.
• Ideally, a minimum of 10 direct reports and a revenue responsibility of $50M+.
• Track record of achieving revenue growth and building high-performing teams.
• Experience in implementing funnel management, opportunity rigor, forecasting, CRM discipline, and sales standards.
• Capability to mentor and develop sales professionals while enhancing organizational effectiveness.
• Strong skills in commercial, financial, analytical, and strategic account management.
• Willingness and capability to travel 75% of the time.
