This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• You are the senior individual responsible for the work.
• You define the scope of the engagement, organize the analysis, establish the pace, and ensure that every deliverable meets the quality standards expected by our clients.
• Oversee buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence projects for private equity sponsors, lenders, and corporate acquirers across diverse industries and transaction types.
• Lead quality of earnings evaluations, net working capital analyses, identification of debt and debt-like items, and cash flow assessments, synthesizing results into clear, commercially relevant conclusions.
• Manage all facets of engagement execution: scoping, workplan creation, request list oversight, timeline management, and milestone achievement.
• Identify and communicate transaction risks and deal considerations with the clarity and conviction that clients rely on to make critical investment decisions.
• Create and review financial due diligence reports that convert complex data into actionable insights, prepared for PE partners and deal teams.
• Act as the primary day-to-day client liaison on active engagements, managing interactions with PE deal teams, lenders, management, and external advisors.
• Present findings and key deal considerations to sophisticated stakeholders in a manner that is direct, well-supported, and assured.
• Cultivate and enhance client relationships over time, positioning Intrinsic as a trusted diligence partner throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Supervise and evaluate the work of Vice Presidents, Senior Associates, and Associates, ensuring analytical accuracy, clear writing, and professional presentation.
• Offer real-time feedback and structured coaching to enhance the capabilities of your team with each engagement.
• Contribute to recruiting, training, and professional development initiatives within the TAS practice.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in financial due diligence at a Big 4 TAS or Deals practice, a national advisory firm, or a similar transaction advisory environment.
• Proven history of leading quality of earnings evaluations, net working capital assessments, and comprehensive financial due diligence projects with minimal supervision.
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP as applied in transaction contexts: EBITDA normalization, working capital mechanics, debt and debt-like structuring, and considerations for purchase agreement negotiations.
• Wide-ranging industry exposure in middle-market transactions: manufacturing, distribution, business services, technology, consumer, and related sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required (active or eligible).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and comfort working with large, intricate datasets under deal-driven timelines.
