Director, Strategy & Operations – Healthcare

📋 Description

• Act as a key strategic advisor to the SVP of Neurology Operations and NBU leadership, utilizing data-driven insights to facilitate transformation, growth, and performance enhancements within the business unit.

• Hold P&L accountability for Ambulatory & EEG Services, encompassing strategic investment planning and the achievement of financial and clinical performance targets.

• Spearhead the redesign of clinical payroll and compensation systems, ensuring precision, transparency, and scalability through the integration of data architecture and operational workflows.

• Create and uphold advanced analytical tools, KPI dashboards, and performance reports in collaboration with IT, Data Warehouse, and Analytics teams, guaranteeing data integrity, standardization, and HIPAA compliance.

• Collaborate with Finance on forecasting models, revenue tracking, and budget oversight; assist business unit leadership during Monthly Operational Reviews and in preparing key executive presentations.

• Proactively identify data quality risks, reporting discrepancies, and process inefficiencies; implement mitigation strategies to ensure the precise and timely delivery of analytics products.

• Track KPIs related to provider preparedness, implementation timelines, turnaround times for BD requests, and adherence to launch schedules.

• Work alongside Clinical Provisioning teams to improve scheduling optimization and automation within the TIQ-Scheduler suite in Salesforce.

• Ensure accurate data management, including clinician profiles and service site registries, across Salesforce, TelemedIQ, and other operational platforms.

• Design and execute scalable and repeatable processes that integrate operational, financial, and pricing elements to support sustainable growth.

• Collaborate across functions with Finance, Credentialing, Clinical, and Business Development teams to ensure internal (NBU) partners receive the necessary reporting and insights for informed decision-making.

• Effectively lead and mentor direct reports, aligning their efforts with goals and overarching NBU objectives.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Directly supervise staff, including task assignments, coaching, and overall performance management.

• Guide, develop, and mentor direct reports, focusing on fostering career paths for professional advancement.

• Implement progressive discipline, including corrective actions, when required, to maintain high job performance levels and compliance with company policies.

• Conduct formal performance evaluations for all direct reports and formulate action plans for ongoing development and performance enhancement.

• Oversee payroll functions for direct reports, including timekeeping, approval of time-off requests, and other administrative tasks.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.

• Proficient in advanced Excel and analytics skills, including data visualization tools.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to demonstrate empathy when interacting with hospital partners, physicians, and patients.

• Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.

• Demonstrated understanding of standard clinical procedures, laws, and regulations.

• Capable of working independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.

• Expertise in electronic practice and health record management.

• Skilled in building and interpreting data, transforming insights into clear, compelling narratives that drive informed decision-making at all organizational levels.

• Eager to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

• Able to operate with precision and vision, driving scalable processes.

• Capable of succeeding in a remote-based, high-growth, fast-paced organization.

• Must be able to maintain a stationary position for 50% of the time.

• Willingness to travel as needed for meetings and collaborative efforts.
