Director, Strategic Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of finance for expansion initiatives, especially international growth, by evaluating the performance of various expansion activities and assessing resource allocation. Provide effective guidance to the business as it aims to achieve its growth objectives.

• Conduct in-depth analyses of our operations to identify areas where ambitious targets can be set, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement initiatives based on these insights.

• Foster collaboration between departments such as operations, engineering, and product to advance strategic projects and external partnerships. Act as an advocate and representative for the Finance team in these discussions.

• Recognize operational inefficiencies and create scalable solutions to improve business performance and enhance market positioning.

• Leverage advanced data analysis to support strategic decision-making and stimulate business growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in finance, private equity, or related disciplines, ideally within high-growth startup environments.

• Demonstrated ability to creatively solve complex challenges amidst uncertainty.

• Comfortable with both detailed operational analysis and high-level strategic thinking.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong passion for innovation and a proven track record of executing impactful projects.

• Proficient in financial modeling techniques.

• Ability to navigate through ambiguity and make data-driven decisions to fulfill business goals.

• Interest in a wide range of responsibilities covering various business aspects, including operations, finance, and marketing.

• Proven bias for action with a relentless commitment to achieving results. Willing to assertively present new ideas to senior leadership.
