Service Delivery Manager – Banking, Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the complete development lifecycle of projects that implement both functional and technical changes to our banking solutions.

• Demonstrated capability to effectively manage change within projects.

• Lead a diverse team of associates and integrate into the leadership team of the Development Centre.

• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with client stakeholders, including high-level business and IT executives.

• Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and contractual commitments while proactively addressing risks and escalations.

• Foster a culture of ongoing improvement by identifying efficiencies, opportunities for automation, and enhancements to services.

• Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes in accordance with established protocols and best practices.

• Supervise third-party/vendor performance as necessary.

• Assist in commercial governance tasks, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.

• Proven track record in managing development activities within a banking or financial services context.

• Strong comprehension of regulated environments, compliance, and risk management practices.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum development projects.

• Solid understanding and commitment to processes and data-driven management methodologies.

• Proven ability to manage intricate development projects and engage with senior stakeholders.

• Experience in budget management and ensuring service profitability.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

• Preferred experience in working with global delivery models.

• Familiarity with participation in audits, particularly ISO 20001.

• Background in outsourced or Managed Service Provider (MSP) environments.
