SAP Finance Migration Architect, FI/CO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Autonomous execution of SAP transformation and data migration initiatives within the SAP Finance sector – encompassing analysis, design, and technical implementation in the SAP system.

• Creation and execution of technical migration and transformation strategies, which include the validation of migration outcomes and optimization within both test and production environments.

• Standardization and deployment of SAP Finance services such as New G/L, S/4HANA Finance upgrades, fiscal year adjustments, and currency modifications or introductions.

• Functional (technical) leadership of subprojects and project teams focused on SAP Finance and S/4HANA initiatives.

• Planning and facilitating technically oriented workshops, training sessions, and meetings – including in an international project setting.

• Providing technical consulting to our clients on SAP FI/CO and assisting in presales activities with an emphasis on SAP Finance and transformation subjects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong foundational knowledge in (business) informatics – a completed degree or equivalent qualification is preferred; a technical-analytical background is crucial.

• Several years of relevant professional experience (preferably at least 5 years) in the SAP FI/CO or FICA modules.

• Comprehensive technical expertise in SAP and experience in ABAP development (both classic and/or ABAP OO); familiarity with other object-oriented programming languages such as Java is beneficial.

• Experience in SAP data migration and transformation projects, ideally with a focus on table-based migrations.

• Consulting and project management experience, coupled with a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work.

• Strong customer and team orientation, along with a commitment to ongoing professional and technical development.

• Excellent German language proficiency in both spoken and written forms; English language skills are a plus.
