This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +19 more states.
• Conduct operational redesign and develop as well as implement business strategies aimed at enhancing service levels, operational capabilities, and efficiencies.
• Direct and manage staffing requirements for Patient Services and Specialty Programs by analyzing trends, creating forecasts, researching business needs, and evaluating workflows.
• Collaborate with IT leadership to ensure all necessary systems and applications are established to support fulfillment operations.
• Formulate and execute strategic plans for the operational infrastructure encompassing systems, processes, and personnel tailored to meet growth objectives and introduce new service offerings.
• Create and implement ongoing operational improvements focused on elevating the quality of patient care while enhancing the customer experience.
• Work alongside leaders from various departments to streamline processes that boost efficiency, safety, and patient experience.
• Continuously monitor, assess, and report on pharmacy service KPIs to other Pharmacy Managers and Executive Leaders.
• Assist in the development and reporting of continuous Quality Improvement Projects.
• Research, present, and formulate business cases for new technology solutions and/or processes aimed at improving pharmacy fulfillment operations or enhancing patient experience.
• Develop and oversee an effective, cost-efficient, safe, and patient-centered fulfillment strategy across all fulfillment locations.
• Graduate from an ACPE Accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree and a current, unrestricted license is mandatory.
• Must possess a current resident Pharmacist license with no restrictions; continuous education credits are required to maintain active licensure.
• A minimum of five years as a licensed pharmacist is preferred.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in specialty pharmacy is preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Experience in managed care and/or PBM is preferred.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support the objectives of the compliance program.
• The ability to consistently engage cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues is essential.
