This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Director of Search Strategy serves as a strategic leader tasked with developing, scaling, and operationalizing Orchestra’s AEO (AI-Enhanced Optimization) intelligence offering.
• You will design the frameworks, tools, methodologies, and insight engines that enhance our clients’ visibility in an AI-driven search environment.
• This position goes beyond mere execution; it focuses on creating the system that enables Orchestra to provide state-of-the-art search intelligence at scale.
• You will establish a unified AEO insights discipline that integrates data science, AI-driven search analytics, strategic storytelling, and audience insights; ensuring our clients are not only visible in traditional search but are also highlighted, summarized, and recommended by emerging AI-powered engines and multimodal interfaces.
• You will work closely with the Strategy, Insights, and Product teams to transform complex AEO data into engaging narratives and actionable recommendations.
• In collaboration with the Product team, you will contribute to the development of innovative systems, data models, automation workflows, and internal platforms that enhance Orchestra’s search intelligence capabilities.
• 8–12 years of experience in SEO/AEO, digital strategy, or content intelligence, preferably in an agency or consultancy setting.
• Extensive knowledge of search algorithms, structured data, and semantic optimization.
• Strong comprehension of audience intent and narrative strategy.
• Practical experience with AI and LLM tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity) to inform strategy or workflows.
• Capacity to distill large data sets into clear, visual, and actionable insights.
• Experience in transforming insights into scalable tools, frameworks, or platforms.
• Familiarity with search tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console) and new AI analytics platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the skill to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
