📋 Description

• Develop, manage, and oversee comprehensive end-to-end master schedules for all data center projects, integrating milestones across land and power, design, long-lead procurement, civil and vertical construction, energization, commissioning, IT fit-out, and handover to Operations.

• Supervise and hold Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Power and Interconnection, IT, Operations, and Finance teams accountable to ensure that dependencies and critical paths are addressed in a timely manner.

• Direct both long-term and short-term capacity planning across all regional data centers, aligning MW and IT-load build-out and energization sequencing with corporate demand forecasts, customer commitments, and business growth.

• Design, implement, and maintain sophisticated capacity heat maps to visualize supply against demand, identify capacity delivery gaps, and initiate mitigation strategies.

• Analyze schedule variances, float erosion, and supply chain disruptions, implementing rapid recovery plans while conducting what-if and scenario analysis to safeguard energization dates.

• Communicate the status of schedule health, confidence levels, and capital phasing implications to the SVP – Data Center Delivery, executive leadership, and the Board.

• Enhance scheduling methodologies, work breakdown and coding standards, tools, and KPIs across the data center portfolio.

• Establish and enforce standards for schedule submission, progress measurement, and reporting for general contractors, EPCs, and owner’s representatives; validate contractor schedules against the IMS.

• Collaborate with Finance and Capital Projects to synchronize the IMS with capex phasing, cash flow forecasting, and earned value reporting.

• Build, lead, and develop a team of schedulers and planners; serve as the recognized authority on scheduling.

• Proven ownership of an integrated master schedule across multiple concurrent projects with a combined capital value exceeding $100M, ideally at gigawatt-scale campuses.

• Expertise in advanced scheduling tools – Primavera P6 and/or MS Project – including WBS design, resource and cost loading, critical path and float management, and schedule risk analysis (including Monte Carlo simulations).

• Working knowledge of data center delivery sequencing, including utility interconnection and energization, MEP long-lead procurement, commissioning levels (L1–L5), and integrated systems testing, and their effect on capacity availability dates.

• Demonstrated ability to create and interpret complex data analytics dashboards, capacity heat maps, and scenario-planning models (Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheet, or similar; SQL or Python is a plus).

• Experience with enterprise capacity planning frameworks and forecasting demand versus supply.

• Proven track record in leading high-performing, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-stakes technical environment, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.

• Highly proficient in MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and Outlook.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executive leadership, service providers, and potentially community members.

• Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities, coupled with a strong sense of urgency.

• Passionate and confident individual with proven organizational, prioritization, and critical thinking skills.
