This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversees the creation and implementation of the sales strategy while managing a strong team focused on Ingredients manufacturers across North America.
• Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership for their business, excels in selling solutions, and possesses a proven track record of acquiring new clients.
• Engages and influences senior executives and both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
• Propels the strategic commercial agenda for the Sales team, which includes centralizing distribution, evaluating the addressable market, driving the sales pipeline, and increasing sales.
• Guarantees a comprehensive go-to-market strategy and capabilities to enhance profitability, customer engagement, and acquisition of new clients.
• Aids in nurturing relationships with key clients, including direct participation with senior leaders on key accounts.
• Assists in the annual business planning process by establishing territory targets and annual KPIs to ensure business goals are met, including regular progress assessments on a monthly, quarterly, and/or annual basis.
• Works collaboratively with cross-functional leaders to align goals for achieving the strategic agenda, including monthly updates and sharing best practices essential for business success.
• Promotes, aligns, and integrates the company’s vision, mission, and values within the organization.
• Responsible for cultivating company culture both within and outside KHI.
• Mentors and develops employees to address the current and future needs of the organization.
• Manages the execution of the sales pipeline and presents updates during monthly and quarterly meetings.
• Leads a team of 8-10 experienced and junior sales professionals.
• Encourages both internal and external teams to pursue innovative ideas that leverage business opportunities.
• Collaborates with the Marketing department to create compelling selling narratives based on insights and analytical data.
• Significant years of relevant sales or commercial experience.
• Previous leadership or direct managerial experience showcasing the ability to lead and cultivate a team of sales professionals.
• Strong comprehension of the Sales function, processes, execution, P&L management, and ownership of a sales budget.
• Capacity to drive execution and empower the salesforce.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to deliver presentations at the executive level to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Must possess a solid balance between analytical and execution skills.
• Experience managing agency relationships and collaborating with various groups within large, complex matrix organizations.
• Strong financial acumen to influence P&L management; effective business planning and a data-driven approach for maintaining existing and acquiring new clients.
• Experience and expertise in Food Ingredients or similar industrial products preferred; R&D experience is a plus.
