This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Acts as a pivotal resource, offering support for government reimbursement; devises and executes pertinent payment strategies throughout the network.
• Manages the preparation and evaluation of the annual Medicare/Medicaid cost report submissions.
• Offers guidance regarding engagement in state-level supplemental payment initiatives and aids in regulatory research.
• Brings expertise in DSH, IME, DME, wage index, geographic reclassification, value-based purchasing, and other government payment frameworks.
• Addresses any issues arising from cost report audits and guarantees adherence to Medicare and Medicaid reporting standards.
• Provides constructive feedback to team members while identifying opportunities for learning and job assignments that enhance employee experience.
• Ensures the accurate and prompt preparation of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports along with other governmental data submissions.
• Engages in the preparation of the annual operating budget.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Health Administration.
• 10 years of experience in interpreting Medicare and Medicaid payment regulations and maximizing revenue.
• Exhibits the ability to utilize the computer system and all relevant software applications.
• Shows proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid regulations and payment guidelines.
