This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of scalable real-world data platforms to facilitate efficient and high-quality RWE generation.
• Collaborate with RWE leaders and medical strategy teams to convert evidence requirements into data platform specifications.
• Aid in the integration and utilization of claims, electronic health records, registries, specialty data, and other relevant datasets.
• Contribute to the development of linked longitudinal data capabilities for real-world analyses and endpoints.
• Support the evaluation, onboarding, and management of external data vendors and platform partners.
• Assist in the establishment of data quality frameworks, validation protocols, documentation standards, and governance processes.
• Work alongside analytics, epidemiology, biostatistics, medical, access, and other cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate timely access to data assets and promote efficient study initiation.
• Identify areas for enhancing platform usability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Convey platform capabilities, limitations, and opportunities to internal stakeholders.
• Create materials, summaries, and recommendations for leadership discussions regarding RWD platform strategy.
• Stay informed about emerging RWD sources, linkage methodologies, analytical platforms, and industry trends.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• An advanced degree in health economics, epidemiology, statistics, public health, health policy, data science, or a related discipline is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare, consulting, or data/analytics sectors is necessary.
• Familiarity with real-world data sources such as claims, electronic health records, registries, specialty pharmacy data, laboratory data, or linked datasets is essential.
• Experience in supporting RWE, HEOR, epidemiology, outcomes research, medical affairs, market access, or similar evidence-generation efforts is required.
• Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams and external data vendors or platform partners.
• Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize multiple tasks, and articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong knowledge of real-world data sources and their relevance to evidence generation.
• Familiarity with RWE study designs, observational research methodologies, and healthcare research data considerations is important.
• Understanding of data linkage, longitudinal patient journeys, endpoint development, and fit-for-purpose data evaluation is beneficial.
• Knowledge of the U.S. healthcare data ecosystem, including payer, provider, and specialty data sources, is essential.
• Capability to collaborate with analytics and technical teams on data platform development and execution.
• Awareness of data privacy, compliance, documentation, and governance standards for RWE utilization is crucial.
• Experience in data quality assessment, documentation, governance, or fit-for-purpose data evaluation is highly preferred.
• Doctoral-level education or PharmD with relevant experience in RWE, HEOR, epidemiology, or data science is preferred.
• Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S., with some restrictions based on legal entity.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% is required.
