This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Set the benchmark for ROI analysis within R&D; spearhead the development of business cases for new product launches and feature investments to prioritize the R&D roadmap based on financial returns and strategic significance.
• Convert long-term product strategy into a sustainable, repeatable financial model that supports our Long-Range Planning (LRP) scenarios.
• Collaborate closely with R&D leadership to evaluate product performance and assess roadmap investments over both short- and long-term periods.
• Deliver strategic financial insights to inform investment decisions and optimize resource allocation across the product portfolio.
• Work cross-functionally to pinpoint growth opportunities, enhance margin drivers, and improve structural cost efficiencies.
• Supervise the creation of adaptable financial models to assist with ad-hoc analyses, scenario planning, and potential M&A opportunities.
• Distill and present complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for executive stakeholders and cross-functional business partners.
• Lead, mentor, and nurture a high-performing team of 3 to 4 financial analysts who support our Engagement and Channel products.
• Over 12 years of FP&A experience in progressively responsible financial roles.
• Strong financial modeling abilities, including experience with product forecasts (revenue & COGS), pricing impacts, and an understanding of common tech industry metrics.
• Proven experience in assessing product business cases, focusing on customer adoption trends, unit economics, and pricing implications.
• Exceptional business acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven insights.
• Capability to excel in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and effectively solve problems across multiple teams.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with experience engaging with Senior Leadership (VP+).
• Proficiency in financial planning tools (Anaplan) and comfort in handling large datasets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of API/platform monetization models and usage-based revenue structures.
