This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Oversee client services and business development for BGA’s global Energy, Climate & Resources sector.
• Develop and implement BGA’s international business development strategy for the ECR field.
• Identify sectors, challenges, and organizations where BGA can contribute value and collaborate with country specialists.
• Lead business initiatives in specific regions and markets, including scope definitions, RFP submissions, and presentations.
• Create competitive service offerings and commercial proposals.
• Represent BGA at industry conferences and events to generate new business opportunities.
• Enhance business development and sales processes while coordinating activities among internal teams.
• Manage global ECR client relationships, serving as the primary contact for regional client representatives.
• Gain insights into clients’ business models, initiatives, challenges, and opportunities in BGA markets.
• Enhance client services and support cross-country ECR teams through workshops, training, and capacity-building initiatives.
• Lead client retention strategies to maintain and expand client relationships.
• Monitor and report on global sector performance, business progress, new business, and opportunities.
• Update Salesforce for revenue forecasting and projections.
• Analyze business trends and provide strategic advice to leadership regarding strategies, resource investments, and recruitment.
• Build a network of policymakers, diplomats, journalists, corporate professionals, business associations, think tanks, and academic institutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert, internal educator, and public thought leader in ECR policy.
• Located in Asia; candidates from the United States and Singapore are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Relevant work authorization is required.
• Strong understanding of the geopolitical and regulatory landscape in the Indo-Pacific region.
• Excellent command of English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in an Asian language is highly advantageous.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• A graduate degree in business, public policy, public affairs, international relations, journalism, or related fields is preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in government, multinational corporations, journalism, and/or consulting within the ECR sector is highly preferred.
• Proven experience and enthusiasm for energy, climate, environmental, resource policy, or related fields.
• Strong public speaking skills and ability to present projects while engaging with corporate representatives, civil society, and media.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with international partners.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic internet applications.
• Eagerness and ability to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively under pressure.
• Capable of managing multiple work streams while meeting deadlines.
