Director, Provider Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the strategic and operational leader of the provider organization.

• Oversee the entire provider lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to engagement, performance, and retention.

• Create and consistently enhance a top-tier provider experience.

• Set and monitor key performance indicators, translating insights into operational and product enhancements.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to develop provider-facing experiences.

• Track provider performance metrics in partnership with Clinical Operations.

• Define and implement the provider workforce strategy in alignment with business growth.

• Manage provider supply planning, including forecasting capacity.

• Supervise and improve provider utilization and capacity across different networks.

• Develop compensation and incentive structures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in healthcare operations, provider operations, or workforce management.

• More than 5 years of leadership experience managing provider teams and/or large-scale clinical operations.

• Demonstrated success in building and scaling provider or workforce operations in rapidly growing environments.

• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities with experience in managing capacity, utilization, and costs.

• Background in working collaboratively with Product, Finance, and Recruiting teams.

• Preferred: Experience in telehealth, digital health, or value-based care models.

• Preferred: Extensive experience working closely with clinicians.

• Preferred: Experience managing both W2 and 1099 workforce models.
