This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive the strategy, roadmap, and—most importantly—deliver exceptional products that enhance how developers engage with and build on the Chainguard platform.
• Create a developer-centric platform that fosters integrations and encourages partner growth.
• Lead projects from concept through to launch and beyond, continuously acquiring new customers and enhancing the product while managing maintenance and support.
• Collect and react to quantitative and qualitative data and feedback, assessing the effectiveness of your team's initiatives and adjusting course as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with Engineering, Partnerships, Product Marketing, UX, and other cross-functional teams, ensuring that our product is easily adoptable by both developers and security professionals. Navigate cross-functional landscapes with clarity and influence.
• Represent Chainguard externally as needed, including engagements with customers and prospects, partners, and industry analysts.
• Proven experience in recruiting, leading, and developing teams of Product Managers. You should possess the ability to attract and retain outstanding talent. Team performance is a collective effort, and you will need support to meet your objectives.
• A strong technical background is essential, as you’ll need to quickly gain credibility with developers and communicate effectively in their language. This could stem from prior experience as a developer or demonstrated success in systems, networks, or a closely related technical field.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a solid history of engaging deeply with customers and taking ownership of outcomes through hands-on execution and delivery.
• Ability to take initiative and act swiftly, even amidst uncertainty.
• Capacity to prioritize decisively and concentrate on what is most important.
